The man killed in a boiler room accident at the Hadera power station yesterday was identified as Yosef Patak, 36, of Or Akiva, who was employed as a welder. Two other workers, Menahem Asraf and Menashe Zaguri suffered severe burns in the same accident caused when a tube burst releasing high pressure steam from the coal-fired boiler. A third man sustained slight injuries. A spokesman for the power station said the accident victims were engaged in routine maintenance work on the boiler, which was not in service at the time.
