El Salvador has named Enrike Gutfreud, a senior economist in the Salvadoran government, to be its new Ambassador to Israel. He will reopen the El Salvador Embassy in Jerusalem. The Central American country, which moved its Embassy from Tel Aviv, has not had a resident Ambassador in Israel for the past year.
