Several Jewish cemeteries have recently been desecrated in East Germany, according to the East German news agency ADN.

Gravestones have been found daubed with swastikas and the perpetrators also left posters at the sites with the slogan “Jews Out.” Some of the recent anti-Semitic incidents that have been cropping up in East Germany have been directed at Gregor Gysi, leader of the Communist Party, whose father was Jewish.

Gysi had been accused of trying reinstate the former Communist regime and of plotting against the German people.
