A captured member of a Baghdad-based terrorist organization that collaborates with Iraqi intelligence admitted Tuesday to attacks on Israeli and American targets abroad during the years 1982 to 1985.
Fuad Hussein al-Farah, 35, born in Irbid, Jordan, was captured a month ago during a routine search by the Israeli navy of ships in the Mediterranean suspected of harboring terrorists.
He admitted membership in the Arab Organization of 15 May, headed by Abu Ibrahim, which has headquarters in Baghdad and operates under the supervision of local intelligence agencies.
Farah said his activities included a failed attempt to bomb the Israeli Embassy in Singapore.
