Israeli Staff Sgt. Arik Schwartz was convicted by a military court of the illegal possession of army weapons and of unbecoming behavior.
Schwartz confessed to passing on weapons to brothers Yigal Amir, the confessed assassin of Yitzhak Rabin, and Hagai Amir, who is accused of conspiring to kill the prime minister.
Schwartz’ sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
