NEW YORK, Jan. 23 (JTA) — A chemical in hyssop plants
grown in China might serve as the basis for the newest medication to
treat Alzheimer’s disease, Israeli researchers have found.Alzheimer’s is a neurological disease that causes the destruction of brain cells and a loss of memory. Scientists at the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovot discovered that the chemical in the plant can strengthen memory.
