The Anti-Defamation League will honor Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz on Wednesday with its Distinguished Statesman Award. Yilmaz ended Turkey’s one year of Islamic rule when he formed his government in May. He has pledged that his government will “raise the profile of civilian, democratic and freedom- loving values.”
