Israeli troops clashed with Palestinian protesters in the West Bank for a third straight day after the army killed two leaders of Hamas’ military wing. Israel tightened security across the country in the wake of threats from Hamas to retaliate for the killings of brothers Imad and Adel Awadallah. Israel imposed an indefinite closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip — its first in more than a year.
