Chase Manhattan Bank helped the Nazis plunder millions of dollars from Holocaust victims, according to a class-action lawsuit filed in Brooklyn. The bank “collaborated with the German authorities” during the war, the suit alleges. The lawsuit makes similar accusations against investment house J.P. Morgan and seven French banks.
