The American Jewish Congress launched a campaign aimed at stemming the scourge of gun violence. The group hopes to gather 1 million signatures as part of a petition drive to urge Congress to pass meaningful gun control legislation. Democratic members of Congress and gun control advocates joined with the group at a Capitol Hill news conference Tuesday in calling for tougher gun-control legislation.
