An Academy Award-winning director’s next film about his childhood in Jewish Baltimore is slated to premier in Baltimore on Sunday. Barry Levinson’s “Liberty Heights,” which takes place between Rosh Hashanah 1954 and the same time the next year, will open in New York and Los Angeles on Nov. 19.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
