Jews in Latin America will soon have an Internet site of their own. Shalom Online — www.shalomonline.com — is slated to be up and running on Jan. 1. The site will provide free e-mail, chat rooms, video conferences and practical information such as how to plan a Jewish wedding, prepare a traditional seder or find a burial site.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
