Jewish voters in California overwhelmingly rejected a proposition that would legally recognize only heterosexual marriages, according to a Los Angeles Times exit poll. The Jewish vote was 76 percent against the proposition, which was widely perceived as an anti-gay measure. California voters passed Proposition 22 by a 61 percent to 39 percent margin.
