Since Sen. Joseph Lieberman’s vice presidential race remains unclear, so, too, does the Jewish makeup of the U.S. Senate. There will be at least nine Jews serving in the Senate. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) retires after 18 years. Lieberman won his seat and will serve if he loses the vice presidency.
