The national director of the Anti-Defamation League met with a U.S. congressional committee to discuss his role in the case of fugitive billionaire Marc Rich, who made contributions to the ADL, JTA has learned. That same day, Abraham Foxman issued a statement saying he “probably” should not have joined the effort to have President Clinton pardon Rich.
