The U.S. State Department is reviewing the travel warning it issued on travel to Israel shortly after Palestinian violence erupted last September. Speaking before a House of Representatives subcommittee on the Middle East, the assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, Edward Walker, acknowledged the impact the advisory has had on tourism to Israel.
