The developer who owns the Concord Hotel has signed a deal with a hotel operator to build a new luxury golf resort on the property in New York’s Catskill Mountains. The hotel, which closed in 1998, was long a part of the famed “Borscht Belt,” where mainly Jewish comedians entertained thousands of vacationing New Yorkers.
