Israel’s chief rabbi released three eagles into a nature reserve in memory of Israeli soldiers kidnapped to Lebanon. Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau released the eagles last Friday at the Mount Carmel Nature Reserve, each bird named for one of the three Israeli soldiers kidnapped by Hezbollah in October 2000 and recently declared dead, Israel Radio reported.
