The White House voiced support for Monday’s solidarity rally in Washington. “I think that the march yesterday is another sign of the important passions that people feel on this issue,” White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said Tuesday, adding that President Bush “has been very clear that Israel has no better, greater friend than the United States.”
