A Jewish Democrat will try to become the next governor of Pennsylvania. Ed Rendell, former mayor of Philadelphia, won the Democratic primary Tuesday and will face Attorney General Mike Fisher in the November election. Another Jewish candidate, Bev Stein, lost the Democratic primary in Oregon to Ted Kulongoski.
