A politician in the German city of Neuss wants to name a street for the city’s last cantor, Benno Nussbaum, who was killed by the Nazis in 1944. Carsten Greiwe, 34, a member of the Neuss City Council, has asked Mayor Herbert Napp to make this long-debated issue a top priority in the City Council’s upcoming sessions.
