The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations expressed support for U.S. efforts to have Iraq “divest itself of weapons of mass destruction.” The group also said it supports “the efforts to enlist the United Nations and international cooperation to secure Iraqi compliance, including the use of force as a last resort.”
