The Likud-Labor gap closing in the wake of corruption allegations involving Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, according to opinion polls. A poll published Thursday in Ha’aretz predicted Likud winning only 27 seats in the Knesset, down from 40 a month ago. The poll showed Labor gaining slightly, from 22 to 24 seats.
