Israeli reporter Amira Hass won a $25,000 U.N. prize for her coverage of the Palestinians. The U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Oranization, known as UNESCO, awarded Hass its Guillermo Camo World Press Freedom Prize for 2003.
