Ariel Sharon reportedly was to order the Israeli army to pull out of the hearts of West Bank cities after his meeting with the Palestinian Authority prime minister. The Israeli prime minister met with Mahmoud Abbas at Sharon’s Jerusalem office Thursday evening, for the second time in as many weeks, to discuss the implementation of the “road map” peace plan.
