Aharon Roth, a longtime leader of North American Jews in Israel, died over the weekend in Israel. Roth’s age was unknown. Roth helped Teddy Kollek, who would go on to become mayor of Jerusalem, gather arms and recruit volunteers during Israel’s early years.
