Israeli and Palestinian leaders will meet separately with President Bush in the White House late this month. The White House announced Thursday that Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas will meet with the president on July 25 — their first meeting in Washington — and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will meet Bush on July 29.
