Milton Konvitz, a scholar who founded the Jewish studies program at Cornell, died Sept. 5 in New Jersey at the age of 95. Konvitz was a constitutional scholar who worked for the NAACP with Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, and he was the teacher of current Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at Cornell.
