A recent leadership vote in Berlin’s Jewish community was declared invalid after an investigation confirmed suspicions of ballot manipulation. Albert Meyer won the Sept. 14 election when his list of candidates won 16 of the 21 seats on the community’s council. The internal investigating commission announced Wednesday that numerous ballots appeared to have forged signatures.
