Israeli engineers dynamited three buildings in the Gaza Strip apparently used by terrorists as surveillance towers. Sunday’s demolitions of the three partially constructed and uninhabited buildings at the Netzarim junction were in retaliation for the weekend killing of three Israeli soldiers in a raid on a nearby army base. Israeli forces evacuated 2,000 nearby residents for the operation, then allowed them to return to their homes once the demolition operation was complete.
