A center for Jewish studies — believed to be the first in Slovenia — was inaugurated this month. The scope of the Ljubljana-based center, which will form part of the humanities department of the University of Ljubljana, will be the study of Jewish culture, language, literature and history.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
