Israel’s chief Ashkenazi rabbi praised the revival of Hungarian Jewish life at a Chanukah celebration in Budapest. Speaking Monday at a public ceremony where a 20-foot menorah was lit, Yona Metzger said he is impressed that non-Jewish Hungarians joined in the celebration.
