An Israeli tennis star will compete in the Olympics after a sponsorship rift nearly kept her off the team. Anna Smashnova-Pistolesi, Israel’s top female tennis player, will play in the women’s singles tournament in Athens now that her regular sponsor, Lotto, has reached agreement with Speedo, the official supplier of the Olympic team, over her Olympic garb.
