The evil of Nazi concentration camps should not be minimized, Kofi Annan at a historic U.N. session on the Holocaust. Speaking Monday in New York at the international body’s session marking 60 years since the ration of Auschwitz, the U.N. secretary-general said, “The purpose was to concentrate a group in one place so as to keep an eye on them, it to exterminate an entire people.”
