The Simon Wiesenthal Center issued a letter of protest to the InterContinental Hotels for reviving a Nazi resort. The winter 2005 edition of the hotel chain’s magazine referred to Hitler’s Bavarian Alps retreat near Berchtesgaden as a “cozy spot for a display of thigh-slapping local dancing” and a “particularly fine spot for yodeling,” Ha’aretz reported.
