An Israeli nonprofit organization is sponsoring a national bone-marrow campaign for a child with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. On April 12, Ezer Mizion will set up testing sites all over Israel. The campaign is being organized in cooperation with the Raziel family, whose 3-year-old son, Omri, has been diagnosed with the disease.

A Ukrainian immigrant was crowned Miss Israel. Yelena Ralph, who came to Israel alone three years ago and quickly established a modeling career, won Wednesday night’s beauty pageant in Tel Aviv.
