The United States will not negotiate with Hamas, regardless of its success in Palestinian elections, the State Department said. Spokesman Sean McCormack said Tuesday that the U.S. position regarding the terrorist group wouldn’t change even if Hamas earns seats in Palestinian legislative elections.
