Yad Vashem launched an online resource to coincide with the United Nations’ first commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day this week. The resource is available at the Web site of Israel’s Holocaust memorial, www.yadvashem.org. The information includes suggested educational activities, survivors’ video testimonies, online exhibitions and a link to Yad Vashem’s database of Holocaust victims’ names.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
