Israel’s defense minister threatened a new military offensive against Hamas if it resumes terrorist attacks. Sunday’s Yediot Achronot quoted Shaul Mofaz as saying that the Islamic terrorist group would not be immune from Israeli countermeasures despite its victory in Palestinian Authority elections last week.
