More than a quarter of Israelis cannot afford comprehensive health care, a poll found. According to the Israel Medical Association poll issued this week, 28 percent of Israelis have had to forego specialist treatment or do without certain prescription drugs because they could not cover mandatory surcharges to coverage offered by the National Insurance Institute.
