Jewish organizations helped bankroll aid to credit unions in New Orleans. A large part of the $280,000 delivered Jan. 27 to the credit unions was collected by the Jewish Funds for Justice, in partnership with UJA-Federation of New York, the National Credit Union Foundation and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
