The Dubai company seeking to operate American ports is defending its ownership by a country that participates in the Arab boycott of Israel. In a conference call with Jewish reporters Wednesday, Michael Moore, senior vice president for commercial for DP World, said his company follows the law in each company it operates in, which means it adheres to the boycott in the United Arab Emirates, but not in the United States.
