The elegant, 19th century home that belonged to Italy’s wartime fascist dictator includes secret fortified bunkers and a chamber where he could have survived a gas attack. Villa Torlonia, where Mussolini lived from 1925-1943, was opened to small, pre-booked tour groups Wednesday after a $6 million restoration.
