A senior member of Israel’s governing Kadima Party faces criminal charges for cronyism. Tzachi Hanegbi, a veteran politician and head of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, was informed Tuesday by the Attorney General’s Office that he would be indicted over allegations that he illicitly appointed friends to state jobs when he served as Israel’s environment minister.
