A grant will help preserve items related to the heyday of Yiddish theater in the United States. The Eli and Edythe L. Broad Foundation made the $186,000 gift to help restore items such as programs, photographs and props, The New York Times reported.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
