The piece is part of a multimillion-dollar cache belonging to late collector Max Stern, taken when he fled Germany during the war. Working with agencies like the Holocaust Claims Processing Office in New York and Interpol, Concordia has been searching for Stern’s missing Dusseldorf collection for six years.
