The “Quartet” of major powers guiding the Israeli-Palestinian peace process will meet Dec. 1 in Jordan with moderate Arab states. The Jordan Times quoted senior Jordanian officials as saying late Tuesday that representatives of the United States, European Union, United Nations and Russia would meet at a Jordanian Dead Sea resort with foreign ministers from Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
