Hamas and Fatah leaders agreed on a slate of technocrats to head a new Palestinian government, a report said. The new government will be led by Mohammad Shbair, a microbiology professor and former president of the Islamic University in the Gaza Strip, according to a release Monday from the Palestine Center, a Washington think tank with strong ties to the Palestinian leadership.
