An Israeli university returned a donation from a disgraced former publisher of the Jeruslem Post. Haifa University announced Wednesday that it had returned $75,000 to the Post, one of the newspapers David Radler formerly ran for Conrad Black’s Hollinger International. Israeli media have reported that some of the money was misappropriated from the Post’s charity funds. Radler has pleaded guilty in a Chicago fraud trial focusing on Black. A statement by Haifa University quoted its president, Aaron Ben-Zeev, as saying the decision to return the donation was made “in keeping with the high moral standard the university strives to uphold.”
