Bomber’s driver jailed

An Israeli Arab received 7 1/2 years in jail for driving a Palestinian suicide bomber to his target.The Tel Aviv District Court on Tuesday sentenced Islam Badir, 28, of Kafr Kassem, for abetting a 2002 attack on a Tel Aviv coffee shop in which a woman was killed and scores were wounded.As part of a plea bargain, Badir confessed that he suspected his passenger, whom he picked up on the West Bank boundary and took part of the way to Tel Aviv, was a terrorist.
